Local makers and artists are invited to create a one-of-a-kind Valentine's Day box to display during Crafty Mart's 1st Annual "Made With Love" contest! Community members will be able to cast their vote for their favorite box with a valentine.  Prizes for the Winner!

We're taking over downtown Akron for another amazing Small Business Saturday (and Sunday, too)!  Crafty Mart will be hosting vendors at our very own headquarters inside The Bounce Innovation Hub. Can you believe this will be our 14th year?!   

Details for the 14th Annual Crafty Mart: 

Date: Saturday, November 26th, 2022 from 10am to 4pm and Sunday, November 27th from 10am-3pm 

Location: Bounce Innovation Hub, 526 S. Main Street, Akron, OH 44311  

Vendor Spaces: Each space is carefully measured out to be 8' x 5'. Bring your own table and chairs.                                        

Price: $175.  There are a limited number of double-length spots available for $250.    Application Fee: $15   

Applications Due: Monday, August 7th, 2022  

Acceptances Sent Out: no later than Sunday, August 21st, 2022  

Vendor Fee Due: Sunday, September 18th, 2022

A quick note about judging: Crafty Mart is a juried show. A panel of judges decide on which vendors will be accepted. We only accept handmade items and leans towards idiosyncratic items that are carefully constructed. Crafty Mart tends to favor Akron-area artists, but strives to include at least 25% new vendors and at least 10% from out of town who can bring something new and different to our fine city. We also only accept no more than 20% jewelry vendors. Our goal is to provide a wide variety of options and price points to attract all types of people to our events and offer our shoppers a variety.  Unfortunately, the application fee is not refundable if you are not accepted, and you must pay a new vendor's fee each time you apply for Crafty Mart. A note about Covid-19: Public health guidelines will be followed to ensure the safety of all vendors and guests. Vendors should expect mandated masks, physical distancing, and increased sanitation efforts.  Vendors should also expect less booths per market to keep within the social distancing protocols.  In the event that this market is canceled due to Covid-19, Crafty Mart assures vendors that you will receive a refund of your booth fee minus processing fees.

Crafty Mart is popping up at the City of Cuyahoga Falls' Downtown Friday festivities on Friday, July 22, 2022.  Our 4th Annual Night Market will take place from 5-10pm at the beautiful pedestrian mall in downtown Cuyahoga Falls.     

We are seeking vendors who sell handmade goods. The city of Cuyahoga Falls has their own food vendors/food trucks, you must apply through their own application process.  Packaged food vendors (teas, chocolates, things that can be consumed at a later date are welcome to apply via Crafty Mart, however).  

Outdoor vendors need to bring their own 10x10 tent, tent weights, table and chair.  Indoor vendors need to bring their own 6 foot table and a chair.

It's been awhile since we've had a spring market, but we're feeling it in '22!  Crafty Mart is excited to announce our Spring Fling! happening on Saturday, March 26th, 2022 from Noon-5pm.  Spring Fling! will happen in our beautiful Carbon Black Event Space located inside Bounce Innovation Hub, 526 S. Main Street, Akron OH 44311.     

We are seeking vendors who sell handmade goods. We have 40 single space spots available, those spots being 8x5 feet in size.  The booth fee for Spring Fling! is $75.  Makers must provide their own table and chair.

Crafty Mart is hosting another Halloween Mini Mart this year! Located INDOORS, inside our newly renovated event space, this promises to be an afternoon filled with shopping, DIY costume making, trick or treat and more!

This form serves as an application for Crafty Mart's Ohio Maker Box.  Any maker in Ohio is encouraged to apply.  There is no application fee needed to apply and no fee to pay when are accepted.  
In 2020, we came up with the idea of offering the Crafty Mart community a Maker Box that supported local artists as well as satisfied shoppers during the pandemic when we could not gather in person.  We learned a lot about how to streamline our efforts in 2020, and we are moving forward with a quarterly Maker Box to be offered in 2022.  We will offer a Spring Box in March, a Summer Box (June) a Fall Box (October), and a Winter Box in December of this year.  
The boxes are juried/curated each season and invitations will be sent at least one month prior to launch. Your item(s) will be considered for all seasonal boxes.  
If invited, you must provide,
1.  A high resolution image of your item for marketing purposes.
2.  At least 30 (but no more than 50) of your items shipped or dropped off to the Crafty Mart office.  The address is 526 S. Main Street Suite 217, Akron OH 44311.  (Please include business cards, we will put them inside each box for your promotion).
Some other things of note:

--the size of our boxes are 6x6x6"
--We ask that you sell us your items using your wholesale price.  Please choose an item that can be sold to us for no more than $10.
--We may also ask you for additional promotional materials, ie Quick videos of you introducing yourself and your product, pictures of you in your work space, etc.
--We ask that you share this box on all of your socials at least 3 times to maximize shopper reach!
--Invoices for the total product amount can be sent via PayPal  to craftymart@gmail.com at the conclusion of the subscription box sales.
